If a picture tells a thousand words, then this photo says everything about kindness and compassion for others.

Keith Kiel was shopping at Publix Super Market in Ormond Beach, Florida, earlier this month when he stumbled upon a touching scene: an elderly man in the beverage aisle getting assistance from a store clerk. But it's not the type of assistance you'd come to expect inside of a grocery store. This employee was going above and beyond the call of duty.
Kiel snapped a photo of the moment, which shows Gage (the employee) tying the elderly man's shoe. The picture was then shared by Love What Matters and was met with an overwhelmingly positive response. "Awesome story! Very inspiring," one comment reads. "Great act of kindness," another reader chimes in.

The picture was posted on Jan. 17 and has since been liked by nearly 20,000 individuals.

After snapping the photo, Kiel explains that he immediately went to find the employee's manager to give him the praise he deserved. "An old man could not reach down to tie his shoe so not only did Gage tie the one but he did the other as well; all with a smile," the photographer remarked.
