Mindie Kniss gets a lot of attention when she walks around town. A large part of that has to do with the fact that when she leaves the house, she's often accompanied by her 2'8" tall husband, Sean. Sean suffers from osteogenesis imperfecta, a disorder more commonly referred to as 'brittle bone disease.' Anywhere from 20,000 to 50,000 people suffer from this disease in the United States, but Sean and Mindie don't see why the disease has anything to do with their love for one another.

The video below details their day-to-day life, chronicling the ups and downs that most marriages must endure. Despite the fact that they live the normal married life behind closed doors, Mindie and Sean still receive hate mail due in part to the fact that there is a misconception about how Sean could satisfy her sexually. Both Mindie and Sean quell those rumors by suggesting that their sex lives are as healthy (if not more so) than any other happily married couple. I find it inspirational that they persevere in the face of those who choose to hate what they don't understand. Perhaps there will be a day when everyone will see their love for exactly what it is.
